Counselling Skills involve the ability to listen to another person and hear exactly what they are trying to say, from their point of view. Counselling is an idea that has existed for several centuries. In most societies, there still is a genuinely embedded view that, under good circumstances, societies have supported each other with their difficulties.

Many see administers, leaders, and managers as synonymous, but there are primary differences. They have individual and unique abilities and skills. Administration is task as well as process, leadership is planning and vision, and management is creation and execution.
As a result, the role of leaders is to motivate and inspire. On the other hand, the managers have roles to coordinate, plan and organize.

The origin of the English word ecumenical is the ancient Greek oikoumene. The root of this word is oikos, a house, and its original meaning relates to those who live together in a household.
By a process of extension it came to refer to the whole inhabited earth. This is a similar journey to that undertaken by another word coming from the root of oikos, economy, which began as the management of the household.

The idea of development was to a large extent the by-product of the post-war reconstruction process spearheaded by the newly established international institutions such as the International Monetary fund (IMF) and the World Bank (WB).
