"A life is not spiritual in the fullest sense when any evil is over come."
"The positive out put of
Divine virtues sustained by Divine ennoblement is required as well."
"A believer should not
measure his spirituality by reckoning only the evil things which he does not do: the spiritual life is
better measured by the God honouring things which does do."
"Christian character is not mere moral or legal correctness, but the possession and manifestation of
nine graces: Love, Joy, Peace, Long suffering, Gentleness, Goodness, Faith, Meekness, Temperance -
(The first three are in ward state, the second three are towards all human, and the last three are
towards God respectively)."
The Cross in Christians life
Jesus Christ said,"If anyone desire to come after Me, let him deny himself, take up his cross, and follow Me." (Mt.16:24)
He even said more than that, "And he who does not take his cross and follow Me is not worthy of Me.
He who finds his life will lose it, and he who loses his life for My sake will find it." (Mt.10:38,39)
The cross could be from the inside or from the outside. From the inside, as the Apostle says, "I Have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer
I who live but Christ lives in me." (Gal.2:20)

Love is patient, love is
kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is
not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps
no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with
the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always
perseveres.
